Consecration of ancient temple in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Jan 29: Thousands of devotees today witnessed the Mahasamprokshanam (consecration) of the ancient Madhavaperumal Temple at Mylapore in the city.

Temple Executive Officer T Chandrasekaran told newsmen that renovation work had been undertaken at a cost of Rs 80 lakh for the
Mahasamprokshanam.

The entire amount was borne by a city-based industrialist.
