Cong urges Ushodaya to come out with deals agreement
Hyderabad, Jan 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Legislative party (CLP) today urged Ushodaya Enterprises Limited, a firm owned by a major media group based in the state to make public, the documents signed with US-based Blackstone.
In a press release here, Government Whip S Udaya Bhanu and CLP executive member V Vasanth Kumar said it was essential that the deal between Ushodaya Enterprises and Blackstone be made public to know whether the funds of Margadarshi Financiares, also owned by the Eenadu media group were shifted in to the deal.
Welcoming the agreement which enabled Ushodaya to raise about Rs 2025 crore, partly by way of equity share capital and by way of debt, they said the entire details, including the documents should be published at least in their own paper.
In the absence of full information, speculation about the veracity of the entire deed would continue, they added.
