Hamirpur, Jan 29 (UNI) Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister P K Dhumal launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for his government's failure on all fronts during its four years in power, saying it is in the habit of blaming the BJP for all its ills.

Addressing a public meeting at Gagehri village in the Bamsan Assembly constituency of the district yesterday, he said the state Congress Government was blaming the BJP for its deeds in the last four years after failing to live up to the peoples' expectations.

Terming the present Congress government as one of the most corrupt state government ever, Mr Dhumal said the people of the state have lost faith in it due to its failure on all fronts.

Advising Mr Singh not to read the BJP's follies and mistakes in his public meetings, the former chief minister said he (Mr Singh) would do well to concentrate on his party's performance during his tenure.

He accused the chief minister of discriminating with the people of lower areas of the state, saying the Chief Minister should come out with figures on the amount of money being spent in developmental projects in Shimla and Kangra districts.

Various reports have time and again proved that lower hill areas of the state were being discriminated against, while large sum of money had been sanctioned for upper areas of the state, he said.

Asserting that the previous state government of BJP was committed for the all round development of the state, he said it had spent almost equal amount of money in each districts.
