BJP calls for bandh in Hyd tomorrow

Hyderabad, Jan 29 (UNI) Condemning the lathicharge on their activists, the BJP city unit gave bandh call tomorrow in the capital city.

Speaking to newspersons here, BJP floor leader G Kishan Reddy said the police resorted to lathicharge on the BJP activists indiscriminately.

Terming the state government as 'anti'welfare', Mr Reddy said the party would continue the struggle until the government conceded its demands.

Police resorted to lathicharge on the activists of the city BJP unit when they tried to lay seige to the state Welfare Office to protest against the ''government's indifferent attitude to solve the problems of the poor in the city.'' UNI
