Bhattacharjee down with viral fever
Kolkata, Jan 29(UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee was today down with a viral fever and had to skip the state Secretariat and call off the day's engagements for a rest at home.
Informed sources said the Chief Minister had been running temperature since yesterday and doctors advised him rest. However, there was nothing to worry about his condition, the sources said.
Meanwhile, while inquiring about his health, CPI(M) state Committee Secretary Biman Basu advised the Chief Minister not to attend the party office tomorrow as well. Tomorrow, being Muharram, is a holiday in state Government offices.
