Andhra Bank Q3 net up 5.76 pc

Mumbai, Jan 29 (UNI) The public sector Andhra Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 136.28 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 128.86 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, an increase of 5.76 per cent.

Announcing the results, the Bank said its total income has increased from Rs 817.50 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 945.62 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
