21,668 bottles of high quality illicit liquor seized in Jan

New Delhi, Jan 29 (UNI) City's Excise Department has seized 21,668 bottles of high quality illicit liquor in January this year, which is double as compared to January last year.

In a special drive, a truck with 580 cases containing 6,960 bottles was seized and bottles with Indian Made Foreign Liquor brands. In addition, 11 other major FIR's were registered between January 22 to 24 in which 2,652 bottles of illicit liquor were seized.

Delhi Finance Minister A K Walia commended the efforts of the Excise Department in curbing the trade of illicit liquor.
