Woman drowns in Ganga

Ardh Kumbh Nagar, Jan 28 (UNI) A woman was drowned after a boat capsized in the Ganga river in the Ardh Kumbh Mela area in Allahabad today.

Police said the boat, carrying six Maharashtrian pilgrims, capsized near the confluence site.

As the affected passengers were being rushed to a hospital, Kusum Bai died on her way.
