Vote for BJP to avenge Shivaji's insult: Modi

Pune, Jan 28 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today urged the people here to vote for the BJP to avenge the insult of Shivaji by Gujarat Congress leaders, who allegedly called the king a ''looter.'' Addressing a gathering ahead of the elections to the civic body on February one, Mr Modi said he admired Shivaji. ''I had come from Gujarat in a bus only to see the play 'Janata Raja'. But Gujarat Congress calls Shivaji a looter for looting Surat,'' the alleged.
