Two arrested for damaging transmission tower in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 28 (UNI) Police arrested two people for damaging a 33,000 KV power transmission tower at Tappar in Pattan area of Baramulla district today.

Police received an information that two people were cutting the angle iron of a 33,000 KV transmission tower at Tappar Bala in Pattan area.

A police team immediately rushed to the spot and caught red-handed two people, identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh and Noor Mohammed Najar, while cutting the angle iron of the tower.

Police have registered a case in this regard.
