Three injured in ULFA attack
Guwahati, Jan 28 (UNI) Three people, including two Hindi-speaking traders, and an Assam Police Battalion constable were critically injured when their vehicle came under heavy fire from the banned ULFA militants near Kakopathar area in Tinsukia district of ASOM on this afternoon.
Police informed that two businessmen identified as Pradip Kumar Paswan and Sambhu Choudhury and constable of the 2nd Assam Police Battalion Prabin Tejiwal were travelling in a truck from Tangna Bazar to Doom Dooma when they came under the fire from ULFA ultras at Orang Basti under Kakopathar police station area.
All of them were shifted to Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibrugarh in a serious condition.
