Sonia Gandhi meets South African delegation

New Delhi, Jan 28 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi as part of the bilateral meeting with South African delegation today met that country's leaders who included Patrick Lekota, Chairman, ANC, Essop Pahad, Minister, Mrs Ela Gandhi, Mr Ahmed Kathtrada and Ms Barbara Hogan, MP.

Mr Sonia Gandhi also met other Inter National Leaders including Mr George Papandreaour, President of the Socialist Party of Greece, Mr Franesco Rutelli, Dy Prime Minister, Italy, Afsandyar Wali Khan, President, National Awami Party, Pakistan and Dr Kenneth Kaunda.

Members of the official delegation for the conference on ''Peace, Non-Violence and Empowerment: Gandhian Philosophy in the 21st Century'' to be held on January 29 and 30 here are Mrs Smt Margaret Alva, (Leader of the Delegation) Mr Rahul Gandhi, MP, Mr Tushar Gandhi, Dr Shakeel Ahmed, MP, Kumari Selja, MP, Mr Ajay Maken, MP, Mr Ramesh Chennithala, Mr Bharat Solanki, Mr Jitin Prasada, MP, Mr K A Sangtam, Ex-MP and Ms Meenakshi Natrajan.
