Shiv Sena activists beaten up
Badwani, MP, Jan 28 (UNI) Two Shiv Sena activists were beaten up during a clash between two groups when they protested against uttering of abuses to Hindu deities by some Christians, who were allegedly carrying out conversion in the name of curing diseases.
Town Inspector D V S Chouhan said Shiv Sena office bearers Kamlesh Yadav and Ravi had gone to confirm an information that conversion was being carried out in a house where diseases were being healed as per Christian beliefs.
Kamlesh and Ravi protested against using abusive language for Hindu deities. On this, people present their allegedly beat them up and abused them resulting in mayhem.
On receiving information, police reached the spot and controlled the situation. Later, Hindu outfits staged protest in front of police station against the incident.
A case was registered against four people on the basis of Ravi's complaint.
