R-Day honour for OTA chief

Chennai, Jan 28 (UNI) Major General Rabindran Krishna Swamy, Commandant, Officers Training Academy (OTA), was awarded the Ati Vishist Seva Medal by the President on the occasion of 58th Republic Day.

He was honoured for rendering distinguished and outstanding servces while in command of a Division deployed against militants in Doda District of Jammu and Kashmir.

A Defence release here said General Swamy, presently commanding the OTA here, has already been decorated with the Vishist Seva Medal earlier.
