Portfolios of new ministers to be announced tomorrow: Kumaraswamy

Mysore, Jan 28 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today said the portfolios of the five newly inducted ministers would be announced tomorrow.

Speaking to newspersons at the helipad here he said since Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa was on tour and he would discuss the ministers portfolios with him and announce it tomorrow.

However, he clarified that there would not be any major changes in portfolios of the other ministers excepting a few.

On the appointments of Chairpersons for board and corporations, he said in another eight to ten days the list of those belonging to JD(S) would be completed and appointments would be made in a one phase. JD(S) coalition partner BJP had already submitted its list.

All the board and corporations would have the Chairpersons expect a few which were suffering financial loss, he said.

Referring to waiver of farm loans, Mr Kumaraswamy said he would discuss the issue with Mr Yediyurappa who also held the finance portfiolo in this regard before the presentation of the state budget.

The Chief Minister was here on a private visit to the city to attend marriage of the newly inducted ministery G T Devegowda's duaghter.
