Large number of people pay tribute to Tara Devi

Hisar, Jan 28 (UNI) A large number of people from all walks of life today attended the 'Shradhanjali Sabha' of Tara Devi, late mother of Subhash Chandra Goenka, Chairman , Zee TV network and Essel Group.

Prominent amongst those who attended this solemn 'sabha' was Congress MP Naveen Jindal, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) president Ashok Singhal, BJP leader Ganeshi Lal and Haryana Confed chairman Bajrang Dass Garg. They all paid rich tributes to Tara Devi.

The Goenka family has already announced to raise a memorial at Agroha to her and six acre land has been purchased for this purpose.

Tara Devi passed away at a Mumbai hospital a few days back.
