Four injured in bison attack

Kolhapur, Jan 28 (UNI) Four persons, including a woman, were seriously injured in an attack by a bison at Bahirewadi village in Ajra tehsil of this district yesterday.

The injured have been identified as Ganpatil Shewale (52), Bandu Patil, Dashrath Misal (67) and Parubai Siddu Lohar (73), police said.

All the injured have been admitted to the Government hospital at Gadinglaj.

On January 17, a woman, Tulsabai Nivruti Belekar (45) from Karadwadi village in Bhudargad tehsil of this district, had died after being attacked by a bison. A farmer, Dadu Nathe, too had been severly injured in a bison attack at Bazar-Bhogaon village while he was working in his farm.
