Five killed in the road accident in Punjab

Ferozepur, Jan 28 (UNI) Five members of a marriage party were killed and eight others were injured when their jeep collided head-on with a private bus near village Gudder Tindi in the district this evening, police said.

The marriage party was coming from Rajasthan when the accident took place. The deceaed included Mrs Salochana, the sister of the Bridegroom, her two children Ashu and Usha and the driver of the vehicle. The fifth victim was yet to be identified.

Among the injured was the bridegroom and his other relatives. The police has registered a case in this connection.
