Dn Rajdhani Express halted at Borivali due to bomb scare

Mumbai, Jan 28 (UNI) Superfast 2951 Dn Rajdhani Express was today halted for nearly two hours at Borivali Railway Station following an anonymous call that a bomb had been planted in the train. However, it later turned out to be a hoax.

Railway sources said at around 1630 hrs, the city police control room received the call saying that a bomb had been planted in the Rajdhani Express.

Police had informed railway officials as well as bomb disposal squad about the call.

The train was vacated at the Borivali Railway Station at 1715 hrs and it was thoronghly checked by the bomb disposal squad with the help of RPF (Railway Police Force). After getting a green signal from bomb disposal squad officials, the train left for Delhi at 1907 hrs, the sources said.
