Digvijay visiting Germany

Guna, MP, Jan 28 (UNI) All-India Congress Committee General Secretary and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has been invited to Germany by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for delivering a lecture on 'The Role of Political Possibilities in an Emerging Democracy', party sources said.

Mr Singh left for Europe yesterday.

Konrad Hermann Josef Adenauer (January 5, 1876 -- April 19, 1967) was a conservative German statesman. Although his political career spanned six decades, beginning as early as 1906, he is most noted for his role as Chancellor of West Germany from 1949-1963 and chairman of the Christian Democratic Union from 1950 to 1966. He was the oldest chancellor ever.
