BJP to launch massive movements for separate Telangana and Andhra

Hyderabad, Jan 28 (UNI) BJP State Unit President Bandaru Dattatraya today said the party would launch a massive movement for separate Telangana and Andhra states.

Addressing the press here, Dattatraya said the party would constitute Telangana Executive Committee to strengthen the party by the end of this week. Padayatras and agitational programmes would be organised as part of the Telangana movement in near future.

Stating that the party would also raise the Telangana issue in the next Budget session in Parliament, he said the BJP would launch movement for separate Andhra with the support of the people, after conducting awareness camps and seminars in the region.

The party at its recently held 'Chintan Bhaitak' chalked out future plan of action to strengthen the party in the state.

Mr Dattatraya said the party would raise people's issues and educate the people about the party's ideology.

He expressed confidence that the party would become an alternative political force in the next Assembly and Parliament elections in the state.

The party would constitute separate state committees to fight against the government on issues like assignment of lands for setting up Special Economic Zones, he added.
