BJP manifesto for Punjab assembly polls within 3 days

Jalandhar, Jan 28 (UNI) Bharatiya Janta Party(BJP) will release its manifesto for the February 13 Punjab assembly elections within the next three days.

Talking to reporters here today, party general secretary Arun Jaitley said that BJP would bring out its manifesto in the next two to three days.

He said the manifesto would reflect the party's vision on development-oriented agenda and pro-poor welfare programmes.

Mr Jaitley said his party did support senior alliance partner Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD)'s announcement for providing cheap wheat flour and pulses to poor people if the alliance comes to power after the assembly elections.

However, the modalities and other implementation related aspects in this regard were yet to be worked out and these would be worked out only after formation of the government, he added.
