All party delegation meets CM on interest waiver issue
Hyderabad, Jan 28 (UNI) An all party delegation today met Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and urged him to intervene and ensure that the Centre waived the interest on the re-scheduled loans.
The delegation comprising Errabelli Dayakara Rao (TDP), Chada Venkata Reddy (CPI), Tulasi Reddy (Congress) and Former MLA Rama Krishna, CPI(M), told the Chief Minister that the 11 per cent interest fixed by the Centre was high for the farmers.
They said the interest, fixed by the Centre during the drought period of 2004, instead of helping the farmers had become a burden for them.
