AIADMK holds fast on Palar issue

Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Jan 28 (UNI) The local AIADMK held a fast before the District Collector's office to protest Andhra Pradesh Government's proposal to construct a dam across River Palar.

As many as 1,000 party volunteers took part in the fast. Former Ministers R Vadivel, R Viswanathan and K Pandurangan addressed the gathering among others.
