2 held for cricket-betting at Visnagar

Ahmedabad, Jan 28 (UNI) The Local Crime Branch (LCB) has busted a cricket-betting racket at Visnagar, near Mehsana town, police said here today.

It is pertinent to note here that the India-West Indies one day international (ODI) was held in Chennai yesterday.

In this connection, two persons, Sachin Patel alias 'Dolo' and Hardik Mehta, have been arrested and cash worth Rs 1,19,550 seized from the duo yesterday, police added.
