Women second to none: Premini

Jammu, Jan 27 (UNI) The contribution by women in leading nation to the success ladder is second to none, said Mrs Premini Sinha wife of Jammu and Kashmir Governor S K Sinha.

Addressing a gathering at the Abhinav Theatre, here this evening, she emphasized that Indian women have accomplished remarkable achievements in every sphere of human activity.

Despite customary travails and orthodoxical tribulations the women of the country have proved her calibre and competence in outshining their male counterparts, Mrs Sinha said while advocating for emancipation of the fairer sex.

She said history of mankind is flooded with significant and notable contributions accomplished by women.

''She is adept, skillful, dexterous, courageous and equally talented as compared to her male counterpart'', she said.
