Vijaya bank Q3 PAT jumps 57.7 pc

New Delhi, Jan 27: Vijaya Bank today posted a 57.7 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 92.73 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, from Rs 58.80 crore for the same quarter a year ago.

The bank's total income also rose 20.4 per cent at Rs 804.83 crore in Q3 FY07, as compared to Rs 668.36 crore in Q3 FY06.
