Vijay Bahuguna is Cong candidate for Tehri LS by-poll

New Delhi, Jan 27 (UNI) Mr Vijay Bahuguna,son of late Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Union Minister Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna,was today named as Congress candidate from Tehri Garhwal Lok Sabha seat in Uttarakhand for the by-election to be held on February 21.

Mr Bahuguna's candidature was approved by Congress President Sonia Gandhi, according to an AICC release issued here by Oscar Fernandes, permanent invitee to the CWC.

The Lok Sabha by-electcion has been necessitated by the death of BJP Member of Parliament from the seat Manvendra Shah.
