Three killed as vehicle falls into gorge in Kullu

Kullu, Jan 27 (UNI) Three people were killed and six injured after their vehicle fell into a gorge in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh yesterday, police sources today said.

The utility vehicle fell into the gorge near Nirmand, about 30 km from Rampur in Shimla district at about 2030 hrs, killing three people on the spot and leaving six injured.

The sources said the injured were admitted to a government hospital at Rampur where the doctors described the condition of the two of them serious.

The bodies of the dead have been handed over to their relatives after a post mortem examination, the sources said.

They said cause of the accident was being ascertained and a case has been registered.
