Temperature on rise with change in wind pattern in state

Jaipur, Jan 27 (UNI) With the changing wind pattern, the temperature has risen in many parts of the state bringing about a change in the climate.

According to the weather office the hot western wind has resulted in an overall rise in the temperature in the state. Mount Abu was the coldest place at 5.4 degree Celsius while the state capital recorded the minimum temperature of 11.6 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperatures at major cities were -- Ajmer 12.7, Kota 14.6, Bawatbhatta 17, Jodhpur 9.2, Pilani in Jhunjhunu district 9.4, Ganganagar 8.5, Churu 9.2, Bikaner 9.3, and Udaipur 12 degrees Celsius.
