Take action against those creating communal clashes: CPI
Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 27 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI) today urged the state government to take stern action against those trying to create communal violence in certain parts of Kerala, particularly in Malappuram district.
Following the killing of a person at Tirur in Malappuram district, some clashes had taken place in that district, including Tanur and cashing on in the incidents both the RSS and the National Development Front (NDF), a Muslim outfit, were planning to create disharmony in the area, the CPI state executive alleged in a statement here.
Terming the people, who were trying to destroy communal harmony and peace, as the ''enemy of the people and the country,'' the state executive in a resolution urged the people irrespective of communities to come forward to ''isolate'' such anti-social elements.
