Syndicate Bank Q3 net up by 20 per cent

New Delhi, Jan 27: Syndicate Bank today posted a 20.3 per cent hike in net profit to Rs 226.12 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, as against Rs 187.88 crore for the same quarter last year.

The bank's total income also increased by 53.1 per cent to Rs 1784.31 crore in Q3 FY07 in comparison to Rs 1,165.21 crore in Q3 FY06.
