Police file chargesheet in Prof Papiya Ghosh murder case

Patna, Jan 27 (UNI) Police today submitted a chargesheet before the Chief Judicial Magistrate against five accused in connection with murder of Professsor Papiya Ghosh of Patna University and her maid here last month.

The chargesheet was filed in the court of CJM Sushma Sinha under IPC 396 and 412.

The accused Shankar Sao, Manohar Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Anil Uraon, and Ramchandra Mahto had allegedly stabbed Prof Ghosh and her maid on the night of December 2 at her residence under Patliputra police station area in Patna.

Two other accused- Mustaquim and Santosh Kumar Rai- were still at large.
