PM inaugurates exhibition on Satyagraha

New Delhi, Jan 27: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today inaugurated an exhibition on 'Satyagraha,' launched by Mahatma Gandhi 100 years ago.

The exhibition has been organised at Vigyan Bhawan, ahead of the two-day International Conference to be held here from Monday to commemorate the centenary of 'Satyagraha'.

UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, many Union Ministers, Members of Parliament and other eminent persons graced the occasion.

After lighting the traditional lamp, the Prime Minister went round the exhibition and saw various posters which depicted inspiring messages of Mahatma Gandhi.

Eminent world leaders, Nobel laureates, delegations from major political parties from all regions of the world and leading civil society organisations working for peace and human rights will participate in the international conference.
