Oriya actress Jena among the jury members at Fajr Film Festival

Dubai, Jan 27 (UNI) Oriya actress Bijaya Jena will serve as one of the jury members of the International Films Section at the 25th Fajr Film Festival in Tehran.

She will join a galaxy of filmmakers and artists such as Iranian Oscar-nominated director Majid Majidi on the panel.

The festival is from February 1-11.

A recipient of the State Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film 'Jaga Balia', Jena was on the Governing Council of the Pune Film and TV Institute of India from 1992-1995 and on the National Feature Film Awards Jury in 1993.

Among the members of the jury are director-producer Wouter Barendrecht from the Netherlands, filmmaker Tofiq Ismayilov from the Republic of Azerbaijan and screenwriter-director Tsitsi Dangarembga from Zimbabwe.
