One killed in accident

Chennai, Jan 27 (UNI) A motorcyclist was killed on the spot and the pillion rider injured when their motorcycle was hit by a lorry at Thirumangalam junction here today.

Police said the deceased was identified as R Arul (27) of Tiruvannamalai district.

The injured Karthick was admitted to a hospital here.

The lorry driver was taken into custody, police added.
