Executive engineer arrested in Lakhisarai

Patna, Jan 27 (UNI) Vigilance sleuths today apprehended an executive engineer evading arrest at the Lakhisarai railway station today.

ADJ Vigilance Neelmani said here today that the special vigilance court had issued a non bailabe arrest warrant against Mr Uma Shankar Prasad after it was proved that he was guilty of using substandard materials in the construction of the Bhagtpur-Lakhiya road in Lahkisarai district.

He said the arrested executive engineer was associated with special division of rural development department.

Mr Prasad was being brought here for his production before the special vigilance court.
