DDC demands to tackle drought situation
Pathanamthitta, Jan 27 (UNI) The District Development Council (DDC) has demanded that the departments concerned should make efforts to tackle the imminent drought situation in the district.
The Council recommended inclusion of those contractors, who failed to finish NABARD-funded work, in the black-list. The Council sought action on a war-footing to make the M C Road traffic-worthy.
The council asked local bodies to sanction licences only to hospitals, which were equipped with scientific waste disposal facilities. District Collector Ashok Kumar Singh chaired the meeting.
