BJP rally causes inconvenience, road blockade at several places

Bhopal, Jan 27 (UNI) Road traffic was today thrown out of gear and common man faced difficulties when a rally was taken out from old city area to Madhya Pradesh BJP office ahead of Mr Vishwas Sarang assuming charge as state Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha President.

Traffic was jammed at several places for 15 minutes to one hour. Kamla Park and VIP roads were blocked from old city area to New Market area for one hour.

Despite senior BJP leaders repeated advice to keep a low-profile, the rally was taken out by Mr Sarang's supporters creating lot of inconvenience, while security and traffic police were seen facing public wrath.

The rally started near Peer Gate at 1100 hrs and ended at 1500 hrs near party's state headquarters. Gun-wielding people were also accompanying the rally.

Mr Sarang took over as state BJYM President in the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state BJP President Narendra Singh Tomar at the state party office.
