3 missing foreign tourists found

Srinagar, Jan 27 (UNI) Three foreign tourists missing from ski resort of Gulmarg since last evening were found in a house boat at Dal Lake this morning, official sources said.

Station House Officer (SHO) of police station Gulmarg reported that three foreign tourists-- Milone Peter Joseph of the United States, Christ Flatcher of Australia and Ms Emma of New Zealand-- were missing from their hotel.

Sources said a massive search operation was launched in the entire area and all hotels and guest houses were searched.

Special teams were rushed to different parts of Gulmarg and Khilanmarg to trace them.

However, a police party found the missing tourists in a house boat here this morning.

A large number of tourists, including a good number of foreigners, are in Gulmarg where the slopes are under three to five feet of snow.

Five European tourists remained untraced after they were kidnapped by a militant outfit ''Al-faran'' in 1995 from Gulmarg.
