12 held on charges of flesh trade
Rajahmundry, Jan 27 (UNI) Police today arrested 12 people, including four women for involving in human trafficking and rescued seven women, including five minors, who were forced into flesh trade.
Talking to newspersons here, East Godavari District Superintendent of Police B Srinivasulu said the sex racket was busted, based on an information provided by a private channel and a local Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).
He said police were on look out for 15 more people in connection with the case.
The rescued girls were sent to an NGO for counselling, he added.
