Three students die in school roof collapse in Surat

Surat, Jan 26 (UNI) At least three students died while more than 100 others and staff members were trapped after the roof of a residential school at Dhichakpura, 90 km from here, collapsed today.

Police sources said the roof slab of the Adharsh Residential School, near Vyara, collapsed killing three students while other students and staff were still trapped inside the debris.

A large rescue team has been from the city, they added.

Senior police and administration officials have also rushed to the spot.
