Suicide bomber kills one in mosque in Mosul

BAGHDAD, Jan 26 (Reuters) A suicide bomber blew himself up in a Shi'ite mosque on the outskirts of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, killing one guard and wounding three other people after prayers today, police said.

Residents said seven people were killed and more wounded, but police said only one person died, a guard at the mosque.

The attack happened in Guba, on the outskirts of Mosul, 390 km north of Baghdad.
