Stuntman injured in daredevilry

Puducherry, Jan 26 (UNI) A stuntman from Chennai sustained minor injuries while performing a daredevil act at the Republic Day celebrations here today.

Puducherry police had engaged Mr Seenu to dipict the disadvantage of not wearing helmet while riding two-wheelers at the celebrations.

As it were in a film shoot, Mr Seenu rode a motor cycle and collided with a Maruti gipsy. The windscreen of the gipsy shattered and Seenu fell off the motor cycle with a scream and a red-water oozed out from his forehead.

However, in reality, he had suffered a minor injury on his head after a glass piece pierced in.

Seenu was later taken to the ambulance stationed outside the Shamiana and the doctors from the Government General Hospital treated him.
