President holds ''At Home'' on Republic Day

New Delhi, Jan 26 (UNI) President APJ Abdul Kalam today held ''At Home'' at Rashtrapati Bhawan on the occasion of Republic Day which was attended, among others by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Among others who were at the party at the Mughal Gardens were Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his cabinet colleagues and Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee.

Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, a number of opposition leaders including BJP's Prof Vijay Kumar Malhotra, the three services chief and several other dignitaries also attended the function.
