People watch Republic Day parade on a clear sky

New Delhi, Jan 26 (UNI) Thousands of peaople today gathered on both sides of Rajpath to watch the 58th Republic Day parade under a clear sky on a warm morning.

The temperature in the morning was 9.5 degree celsius, one degree more than the normal.

The weatherman said the sky would be sligthlt cloudy resulting in fall of temperature a bit.

The warmth in the air, brought about on Tuesday by a decrease in intensity of cold winds, persisted for the third consecutive day.

The maximum temperature also rose to above 23 degrees C.

Some fog was also witnessed this morning even though visibility levels continuing to remain normal at 800 m during the morning hours, and rose towards the afternoon.
