Lt Governor unfurls flag in Puducherry

Puducherry, Jan 26 (UNI) Puducherry Lt Governor Mukut Mithi today unfurled the national flag at the Indira Gandhi sports complex here and inspected a guard of honour presented by the Puducherry Armed police to mark the 58th Republic day celebarations in the Union Territory.

This was followed by march pasts by various contigents of Police, Home Guards, NCC, Ex-servicemen, students, scouts and guides, among others.

Tableaux highlighting the achievements of various departments of the administration and cultural programmes were organised on the occasion.
