J'khand govt wishes to embolden "Gram Sabhas" : CM
Dumka, Jan 26 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said that his government wishes to provide more rights to 'Gram-Pradhans' to decentralise the power.
Addressing a gathering of 'Gram Pradhans' here, Mr Koda said gram sabhas would be emboldened for the deveolpment of villages of the state.
He further added that the 'Gram Pradhans' would be assigned with the task to keep vigil over school and hospital employees posted in the villages adding they would also get honorarium for the job.
Two ''Nioyjak Sevak'' would also be appointed in every block and one in every panchayat to assist the Gram Pradhans.
