Govt to emphasis over infrastucture development
Dumka, Jan 26 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said the Centre has given its nod to the Govindpur-Jamtara-Dumka-Sahebganj road construction project.
The proposed road would connect Dumka to the eastern parts of the country, sources said.
While unfurling the tricolour here Mr Koda said the state government had stressed upon the infrastructure development including the construction of roads.
Mr Koda said about Rs 125 crores were alloted to the railway ministry to expedite the rail projects of Santhal Pargna area and that MoUs of about Rs 75,000 crores were signed with various industrial houses to establish steel plants with production capacity of 18,000 MW.
The state government would also open eight polytechnic institutes and three engineering colleges, he added.
