Four killed in group clash

Hyderabad, Jan 26 (UNI) Four persons were killed by a rival group near Girkitpally village at Vikarabad Mandal in Ranga Reddy district today.

Police said a group of 18 people attacked four persons with sticks and boulders while they were engaged in work in an agricultural field.

Three of them were killed on the spot while the fourth succumbed to his injuried at the Osmania General Hospital here.

The two groups had a dispute on the ownership of lands in the village for several years, police said.

A case had been registered and efforts were on to nab the accused.
